TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is only open to persons who are residents of Australia and are 18 years of age or over, ('eligible persons').
  3. The promotion commences 12.01am AEST on 20/04/2009 and closes 11.59pm AEST on 14/04/2010. ("Promotional Period"). For SA residents, the promotion will commence 12.01am AEST on 24/04/2009 and closes 11.59pm AEST on 14/04/2010.
  4. To enter the promotion, eligible persons must, within the Promotional Period, complete a registration form located at www.prizedirect.com.au
  5. Consumers may only register once and entries are limited to one per person. Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid.
  6. The major prize draw will take place, 12:00noon at Next Digital (SMS Intelligence) Level 4, 241 Castlereagh Street Sydney NSW, 2000 on the 20 April 2010. Winners will be notified by telephone and mail. The winner will have their name and postcode published in the Australian on 23 April 2010
  7. The first correct eligible entry drawn will receive a cheque to the amount of AU$10,000
  8. Total prize pool is valued at $10,000
  9. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is not exchangeable or transferable.
  10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to the utilisation of techniques designed for multiple entries, or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
  11. The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw at the same time and place as the original draw on 23 July 2010 to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date. The first valid entry drawn will win the prize. The winner will have their name and postcode published in The Australian on 27 July 2010.
  12. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned (whether caused by infection by computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter) which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion, (subject to any written direction given by a relevant Regulatory Authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion. The Promoter may in its sole discretion disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  13. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone, telephone or computer network, or lines, servers, or telephone or internet providers, traffic congestion on any phone or computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s handset or computer related to or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communication or of any materials in this promotion.
  14. Eligible entrants consent to the use and disclosure of their information for the purposes of this competition by The Promoter and its agents associated with this competition.
